Third Reflective Blog Post- The Steps and Procedures of Writing a News Story

Writing a news story is a lot more complicated than it seems, and there are various steps to follow than I first thought.

It was interesting to learn about how news stories need to have an inverted pyramid structure, and the writer has to follow that structure throughout their news story, as we did in the first news story.

The news story starts of with the intro, followed by explaining what happened in a nutshell (Hannis, 2018).

After that you have to explain how the situation involving the story happened, amplify your point, and end it off by tying up any loose ends (Hannis, 2018).
