The text which captions a picture is very important, as it informs the reader about what's happening in the picture.
We learnt that there are two ways to caption a picture, they are atelic, and stative captions (Alikhani et al., 2019).
Atelic captions describe an ongoing process in a general way, without invoking it's possible goal or endpoint (Alikhani et al., 2019).
Static captions invoke conditions instead of activities, for example "the building towers over the skyline (Alikhani et al., 2019)."
Photo captions are important for a journalist to learn as they present specific kinds of information in a characteristic way. Any mistake in writing these captions could lead to confusion for the readers.
