Trees in Mount Roskill neighborhood which are home to a family of possums

A family of three Possum's have recently been spotted living amongst the trees in a Mount Roskill neighborhood.

The council has noted the incident, but said they can’t do anything without proof of the possums existence.

Local resident Charmaine whose house is situated near the trees was appalled by the situation.

“You have these pests running rampant while we can’t do anything about it.”

"They could be damaging our property while we simply sit by."

To date there have been no reports of any damages done by the possums.
